NotaDelete Your Nota Account and Data

You can permanently delete your Nota account and all data linked to it directly from the app. This page explains the deletion steps and exactly what gets deleted.
How to delete it from the app

Open the Nota app and sign in
You need to be signed in to the account you want to delete.

Go to the Profile tab
Open the Profile screen from the bottom navigation.

Tap "Delete My Account"
Tap the delete button at the bottom of the Profile screen, then confirm in the dialog.

Deletion happens immediately
As soon as you confirm, your account and all your data are permanently removed from our systems, your session ends, and you can no longer sign in with those credentials.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly deleted:
- Full name, email address, password, and profile photo
- All class notes you uploaded (photos, PDFs, voice recordings)
- Podcasts, quizzes, flashcards, and exam predictions generated from your notes
- Your courses, notifications, notification preferences, and push notification token
- Your daily usage/quota data
What may be retained
Crash/diagnostic logs
App crash and error reports (Sentry) are purged automatically on their own short cycle, independent of account deletion.
Legal obligations
No other data is retained, except in the limited cases required by applicable law (e.g. fraud or abuse investigations).
Can't access the app?
If you can't sign in to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at the address below; requests are completed within 30 days at the latest: destek@notastudy.com
